About Bachelor of Physiotherapy

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a four-and-a-half-year undergraduate program that trains students to assess, diagnose, and treat physical disorders and movement disabilities. The course focuses on restoring and improving body function through physical methods like exercise, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.

Students study subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, orthopedics, neurology, and exercise therapy. They also undergo clinical training in hospitals and rehabilitation centers, where they work with real patients under professional guidance. This practical exposure helps them gain confidence and develop strong clinical skills.

After completing the BPT course, students can work as physiotherapists in hospitals, sports clinics, rehabilitation centers, and fitness institutions. They can also start their own physiotherapy practice or pursue higher studies such as Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) to specialize in fields like orthopedics, neurology, or sports physiotherapy.

The BPT program is perfect for students who are passionate about healthcare, fitness, and helping people lead healthier lives. It offers a rewarding career that combines medical knowledge, patient care, and physical wellness.
